Chief executives of some European companies placed their special emphasis on continuing their activities in Iran’s profitable market and said, “we are not subject to US illogical policies in our economic activities in various countries in the world.”
The 6th International Exhibition of Rail & Transportation, Related Industries started on June 19 and wrapped up its work today.
About 90 foreign companies and 200 domestic companies, working in the field of rail transport industry, participated in this prestigious exhibition.
Alfred Schulter CEO of an Austria-based company, working in the field of rail transport, said that his company kicked off its activity with the Islamic Republic of Iran without paying attention to US sanctions imposed against Iran unilaterally.
Iranian companies showed that they enjoy high potentials and capabilities in rail transport industry, he said, adding, “presently, we are cooperating with capable Iranian companies in the field of construction operation of giant water transmission tunnels.”
In this exhibition, 200 domestic companies and 90 foreign companies from countries [including Germany, China, Russia, Latvia, Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic and Austria] showcased their latest achievements in manufacturing passenger and freight wagons, locomotive and related accessories in transport industry.
Focusing on developing combined and logistics transport has been cited as one of the main approaches of this international exhibition.
